2020 TRIUMPH ROCKET 3
2020 Is turning out to be filled with new releases by Triumph. The new TFC lineup, Limited Edition Daytona Moto2, 765 Street Triple plus of course the new Rocket 3.
The Rocket 3, bringing the world's largest engine capacity to the street! With a ludicrous 2,458cc inline 3-cylinder, comfortable yet sporty seating position and some seriously good looks.
Off the bat, the styling of the all-new Rocket 3 is utterly out of this world in our opinion. Triumph has sleeked the bike down into a magnificently angry cruiser. Nothing on the bike looks underthought, as with most triumphs. This is a motorcycle that makes everyone feel like a badass.
Getting into the specs of the bike we have some crazy numbers. 165hp coming in at 6000rpms and 163 ft/lbs of torque coming in at just 4000rpms. I drive a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, my VW has 147hp and 184 ft/lbs of torque... My VW weighs 2,970lbs compared to 642lbs of the Rocket 3!
The Rocket 3 will come with all of the electronic bits that everyone is looking for, rider modes, cornering ABS, and traction control all come as standard, along with hill hold, cruise control, keyless ignition, and TFT instruments. The GT gets heated grips as standard and with Triumphs accessory book you will be able to find, quick-shifter, GPS navigation, and even integrated GoPro functionality that lets you control your camera from the switchgear on the bike. The Rocket 3 also has full Bluetooth phone integration for calls and music.
After my seat time on the 2015 Rocket 3, I am sure that the new, lighter and stunning 2020 Rocket 3 will not fail to impress. All in all the Rocket 3 is going to be one of the motorcycles I will jump on first when our NY weather turns to spring.
